About Theatre Ariel
Theatre Ariel is Philadelphia's only professional theatre company dedicated to telling stories about the Jewish experience, offering both fully-realized mainstage productions and intimate staged readings called Salon Ariel. They do not have a single dedicated venue, instead performing in various locations throughout Philadelphia and the suburbs, such as synagogues, JCCs, and community theaters. Theatre Ariel hosts a wide array of events including dramas, comedies, solo performances, and new works, often followed by post-performance discussions. Their audience is diverse, welcoming people of all backgrounds, affiliations, and experiences, whether Jewish or not, who are interested in Jewish culture and community.
