About Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus
The Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus (PGMC) is a choral organization that does not have a single fixed venue; instead, they perform in various locations throughout the Philadelphia area and beyond, including renowned spaces like the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and the Academy of Music. They host at least two mainstage concerts annually, as well as community events, holiday parties, pride festivals, and fundraisers, featuring diverse musical performances spanning classical, new commissions, and popular music. Their typical audience includes the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, as they aim to foster LGBTQ+ awareness and support through their performances and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
