About Philadelphia Children's Theater
Philadelphia Children's Theater is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that produces original theatrical adventures. It primarily operates as a touring company, bringing live, family-friendly theater to various neighborhoods across Philadelphia to increase access to the arts, rather than having a single dedicated venue at the 19131 address, which is listed as their mailing address. They host live theatrical performances, including interactive and sensory-immersive productions, and offer classes, often performing at partner locations like Theatre Horizon and the Please Touch Museum. Their typical audience consists of children, generally ages 3-12, and their families, with a focus on serving diverse communities and children with disabilities.
