Cantate Chamber Singers

About Cantate Chamber Singers

Cantate Chamber Singers is not a venue, but an auditioned chamber vocal ensemble and a non-profit organization, accompanied by a larger Cantate Concert Choir. They host concerts featuring a broad range of choral literature from the past five centuries, including commissioned new works, often performed in churches and other venues in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. They also offer educational programs like a Summer Choral Institute and a fellowship for emerging singers. Their typical audience includes individuals who appreciate diverse choral music, and their members are experienced volunteer singers from the D.C. region.
