About Damascus Theatre Company

The Damascus Theatre Company is a not-for-profit community theater organization founded in 1985 that brings quality live performing arts to Damascus and the surrounding area. They perform in various venues, including the Gaithersburg Arts Barn and Damascus United Methodist Church, with the Arts Barn often described as an intimate black-box-style theatre. DTC hosts a variety of events, including large Broadway musicals, smaller musical shows, and DTC Kids' musicals, all performed by the community. Their typical audience includes families, children, and adults of all ages interested in community-based live entertainment in upper Montgomery County, Maryland.
