About Maryland Opera
Maryland Opera, located at 1900 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21218, is an opera-producing organization rather than a single dedicated venue. They host live opera performances, including fully staged, semi-staged, and concert operas, as well as holiday concerts and "New Voices in Opera" initiatives at various locations across Maryland, such as churches and vineyards. Maryland Opera also offers educational outreach programs and opera camps for students. Their typical audience includes people of all ages and backgrounds, from devoted opera lovers to newcomers, with a focus on engaging diverse and historically underserved communities.
